23 December 2022, Cagayan de Oro City – The Nutrition Action Officers (NAO) of Northern Mindanao convened during the 2022 Region 10’s NAOs Conference held last 7 December 2022 at Chali Resort and Conference Center, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City. The conference was conducted to provide updates on major nutrition concerns, as well as matters regarding the regional NAOs association and its constituents.
As the new President of the Nutrition Action Officers Association of the Philippines (NAOPA), Inc. Northern Mindanao Chapter, City Nutrition Action Officer Hazel P. Dondonayos in her Opening Message urged her fellow NAOs to capacitate their local officials and local nutrition committee members. Further, CNAO Dondonayos encouraged the participants to be involved in scaling up nutrition and facilitate compliance to the new Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN).

23 December 2022, Cagayan de Oro City – The new set of officers for the Nutrition Action Officers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (NAOPA) Northern Mindanao Chapter took their oath in an induction ceremony led by National Nutrition Council’s Assistant Secretary and Executive Director, Dr. Azucena M. Dayanghirang.
Clad in their Filipinana and Barong Tagalog attire, the officers were inducted during the Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony for 2022 last 25 November 2022 at Chali Resort and Conference Center, this city.

21 December 2022, Cagayan de Oro City – In an effort to recognize local government units (LGUs) with highly visible and exemplar initiatives in promoting good nutrition through posting of relevant contents in the social media, the National Nutrition Council (NNC) X gives for the third time the Regional Nutri-Webby Awards.
A total of 13 LGUs registered for the search which went on from April to October of this year. Winners and finalists were announced during the 2022 Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony (RNAC) last 25 November 2022.

23 December 2022, Cagayan de Oro City – Among the accolades and honors given during the 2022 Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony is the recognition for the region’s outstanding local nutrition focal points (LNFPs).
Performing Provincial/City/Municipal Nutrition Action Officers (P/C/MNAOs), District/City Nutrition Program Coordinators (D/CNPCs), and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNSs) received their awards during the ceremony held last 25 November 2022, which took place at Chali Resort and Conference Center, this city. This year, the focal points were evaluated based on their performance for CY 2021.

16 December 2022, Cagayan de Oro City – The annual Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony (RNAC) celebrates the gains and the challenges that the local government units (LGUs) achieved in managing the nutrition programs. Last 25 November 2022, performing LGUs were recognized in the annual celebration held at Chali Resort and Conference Center, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.
Below are the awardees who demonstrated excellent performance based on the Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan of Implementation (MELLPI) for year 2021.
