The EPAHP is one of the banner programs of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Zero Hunger, created under Executive Order No. 101. Together with other EPAHP partner agencies, it expected that a greater synergy and convergence in engaging the rural communities to enhance social capital and optimize economic resource base through supplementary feeding and other government feeding programs, food production programs, and essential support services, including the participation of community-based organization ("CBOs") in government procurement as partners will be achieved.
The NNC MIMAROPA shall provide coordination, administration and technical assistance, and assist in mobilizing local nutrition committees to strengthen implementation of the EPAHP at the local level.
