Erlinda Manipon, Regional Director ng Department of the Interior and Local Government Region I Dir. James Fadrillan, Vice Governor Aureo Augusto Nisce ng La Union, at Nutrition Program Coordinator ng Nutrition Council Region I na si Gng. Ma. Eileen B. Blanco.

NSOAGood health and nutrition is a basic knowledge and undertaking that all sectors of the community must have, though ways of acquiring this may vary.

The government mandates concerned agencies to implement programs that should leverage the life and health condition of the society, particularly those areas that are of immediate concern.

This time fellas, brace yourselves as the Nutrition Council in the Ilocos hits the airwaves as they seek to reach the grassroots and the far-flung areas in bringing alternative nutrition education for all.

NNC, through its networks, brings “Nutrition School on the Air” (NSOA) tapping one of the top AM station in the province of Pangasinan – the DZRD Sonshine Radio Dagupan City 981 kHz.

As the title of the program implies, NSOA is an on-air platform where free-learning on nutrition is offered to everyone, particularly those household keepers that are able to access the frequency and are widely reached.
